Specialist Electrical Technicians Limited (SET LTD) carry out electrical installation and trace heating installation works for Fire Sprinkler Companies, the Water/Utilities Industry and M&E/H&V Companies.

We provide a sub-contract design, installation & commissioning services for all electrical matters relating to sprinkler pumphouse electric's, Life Safety valve & flow switch monitoring & panels to BS5306 Part 2 or BS EN 12845 (LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations), frost protection trace heating & thermal insulation, pre-action panel systems & wiring, deluge, water mist & Fogtec systems, addressable & conventional sprinkler alarm panels & wiring, Zonecheck wiring, etc.

Working for the Utilities and M&E companies we offer the full turn key package for trace heating systems, power distribution, thermal insulation, Fire, Security, Data & Communications installation.

We operate throughout the whole of the UK from our two bases of operation in Lancashire & Dorset.

We take great pride in our standards of service and have accreditation of the following professional bodies; ECA, BAFSA, FPA/LPC, ELECSA (Part P Competent Person Scheme), JIB and RoSPA.

All our staff hold JIB CSCS skill cards and hold training qualifications for mobile elevated works platforms (IPAF), mobile scaffold towers (PASMA), Confined Space Entry, National Water Hygiene Card (EUSR) and Passport to Safety

Domestic

Specialist Electrical Technicians Limited (SET LTD) is registered with the ECA and ELECSA to carry out electrical installations in private/domestic dwellings.

Under Part P of the building regulations we are able to self certify domestic electrical work.

Working to the ELECSA Part P Competent Person Scheme we are able to carry out domestic electrical work for:
